Depends

If i knew hime before he went Mad from syphilis. He probably wouldn't have turned out like he did if he had not had it, or was meedicated for it. I would have tried to influence him differnt.

questions...

What if Hitler had gone to artist school? Would we have known him as the great artist of the 20th century? Also if he was shot in WWI and not spared his life by an American Solider who took pity on him- would someone just as evil, less evil or more evil have taken his place? Was Hitler a product of his time? Or did he create the time? These are questions which one can only speculate on....

nature vs nurture

People with far higher intellects have pondered this .. and sadly.. there is no (humane) scientific way to solve this conundrum.
No theoretical schroedingers cat will help us out of it either.

But that makes me wonder.. how would PETA (or the AMD)have reacted to schroedinger's cat theory when it was first proposed?

Hitler was a product of his t

Hitler was a product of his time, because the 1920s-1930s was a time that saw the rise of totalitarianism. Even if Hitler had never come to power, there still would have been Stalin, Mussolini, Franco, the Vichy regime in France, the facist regime in Japan, etc. Hitler was one of the worst mass murderers in history, but the combined acts of other totalitarian and genocidal regimes (as well as Stalin's alone) were far worse. Hitler was an evil evil man, but we tend to only think of him as personifying totalitarianism and genocide.

However, I would have made his mom abort him.

To kill him would be to lower

To kill him would be to lower yourself to his level. It is never right to kill someone no matter what their atrocities may be. Torture however, is a different story. ;-)

Non-violent, but.....

I'm pretty big with the non-violence, and really think killing is wrong under almost any circumstance, and as someone said before, killing would almost have been too good for Hitler. But I can't say that I'm sorry that he was killed. I mean, he shot babies for sport...that strikes a chord in me that almost pushes me to the brink of violence...maybe a good kick or two in the groin is more my style :-P
