I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited!! :) I found out tonight that I've been chosen to be on next year's Standing Committee for Gay and Lesbian Student Needs!!!

Despite the excitement though, I'm also nervous. I have no freakin' clue what I'm doing. I've never been on anything like this before,and I'm not a political activist in any way... :P (For clarification: the Standing Committee advises the VP of Student Affairs on GLB issues.) I think this will be an awesome learning experience for me, but I'm also forcing myself out of the closet. I think the next goal for me is to tell all my friends that I'm gay before they find out from someone else. I don't think I do anything as a member of the Committee until next year, but I'm not completely sure...

*sigh* I just so happy and excited and scared to death and....I don't know! I just hope that I can live up to the job.

Ok...time to go focus on my neglected homework :P Thank God Tomorrow's Friday!!!
