Spring, real spring, like a drug
I don't what it is but over the last couple of day's we've had spring-like weather, birds were chirping outside my window yesterday morning, and I walked though campus without a jacket. It was like mother nature took me back into her arms and apologized for all her neglect. It was magical and surreal. All my bitterness and unhappiness was drained from me as I sat on the steps of the main building overlooking a vast tree-lined lawn and listened to the music and saw other students dancing, just danceing, because its spring and its warm and air smells good and the breeze feels wonderful and everything is just beautiful.
Oh I don't want to do any work!

Its been like that here in D.
Its been like that here in D.C too recently, but it got really cold today, and i totally thought it was still nice outside so i went to school in birkinstocks and no coat and froze my ass off. i know, i should check the weather before leaving the house.

in the southern hemisphere , I am having my first grey and miserable and wet day of the autumn. God I am loving it..
Sleeping with the window open, blowing a cool breeze across your naked body with the soft dripping of rain below a light gray sky. Waking up 20 minutes before the alarm goes off and cuddling up under duvet while waiting for that last moment where you _need_ to get up.
Living in equatorial africa aint all it's cut up to be.. i am tired of sweating like a pig and just being too hot to think straight the whole time. I am tired of mosquito's attacking me as i sleep each night. I just want it to be nice and cold, so i can drag me , a bunch of friends, duvets and matresses , infront of our fireplace with hot cocoa and good conversation.
I am not big on 'outside' or 'sunlight' at the best of times, and am pretty nocturnal (which many of you can attest to).
