Snow shenanigans!

Had a wonderful snow filled day today! The twins and I went to our friend's Heather and Jeramy's house today, whilst they were at class/work, and built a snow fort in their front yard. It took us 2 hours. At first we had no tools to use, so lucky for us we know the code for their automatic garage door, so we opened it up and ganked shovels, plastic tubs, and trash cans to build with. The trash can did not withstand the duration however. We were packing the snow into it and the side split out! We sent one twin to the hardware store to buy another one quickly before anyone came home. While the twin was gone, Heather came home. She was laughing hysterically in her car as soon as she spied us. She went in and changed her clothes and came out to join us. Next to out fort we built a snowbitch. Her name is White Trash Betty. She is adorned with Mardis Gras Beads, hair(made from colorful hair extensions, and a blue plastic stovepipe hat. Along with our fort we built two 'snowball keepers'(hollowed out blocks of snow). These came in handy a while later as our friends Eric and Amber happened to stop by, needless to say they were pelted mercilessly with snowballs. A most fantastic day! One drawback, I still can't feel my toes. ;-)

Ventures such as that are the only times snow is worth the effort.
