Your view of lesbians isn't uncommon. It's just what you were raised to believe. In practically every representation of a lesbian in Western society (I don't know what society you're in, but I'll stick with Western), lesbians are portrayed as overweight women wearing flannel. But I know lesbians that can battle with the most fabulous queer as far as dressing up is concerned.
I don't think that you're homophobic. I think you just don't like that stereotypes that are set upon us, that's all.
