Okay finishing up a funding proposal and I've seen different variations, but which one is correct.

"grass roots" OR "grassroots"

All you walking dictionaries out there, lemme know.

grassroots. Otherwise it sounds like a funky dish being served up at a classy Manhattan restaurant.

photographic memory scans all occurrences of that word since i was a wee bit of a thang n yeah all i see is grassroots. :)
