GRRRRR!
I am such in a state of grrrness right now. I saw something on television today that bothered me immensely. It was blatant propaganda! A stupid Hardees commercial continues as follows:
In the battle of waterloo
the french surrendered
In the franco-prussian war
the french surrendered
In the battle of normandy
the french surrendered
Don't be a chicken
just eat it @ Hardees.
I couldn't believe my eyes! While historically correct, this is in such poor taste given the current state of affairs between the US and France. I am outraged at Hardees and have sent them an e-mail expressing my contempt. I am henceforth boycotting any and all Hardees establishments. (irregardless of the fact that I have never been to one in the first place, i never will!)

I Agree totally. besides the fact that i can't see any relation between the French surrendering and eating fast food, and i have no idea what Hadees is, the Americans shouldn't be poking their nose around. anyone in America care to remember how they ended up in the Vietnam war, or the Korean War?

hardee's is a (bad, bad, very bad) fast-food chain.
and did anyone hear the UN session where the French responded to the "old Europe" comment? It was really quite funny. (I stayed home one morning to listen to the Security Council sessions... can we say nerdette?)

Here's the thing, since our government broke up old and new Europe, financially, even with all of the support of "new" Europe, their combined GDP could not buy us one B2 Bomber. So, we do need the support of the Old and propaganda certainly won't help.
